Blue Ridge Parkway 75 Event, milepost 330:   NC Gold Festival    Annual event, featuring gold exhibits, gold mining techniques and demonstrations, treasure and scavenger hunts, geo-caching, gold panning, numerous vendors including arts and crafts, raffles, Friday night Gold Tales and gospel concert at 6:00 p.m. with Purpose, The Blairs and Glory Land Way Quartet as well as local bands.
