Australia, New Zealand Folk Concert- Bryson City

Oct 10, 7PM, Swain County Center for the Arts in Bryson City NC. Seona McDowell will perform a concert of traditional, contemporary and original tunes from Australia, New Zealand and other far away cultures. Accompanying herself on guitar, autoharp and didgeridoo (an Aboriginal instrument), she draws on her Australian, Irish and English roots to enchant her audiences with songs and stories that are witty, reflective and entertaining. Immediately following the concert there will be a reception for the 32 Western NC artists exhibiting in the Community Exhibit.
