Waynesville's S.T.A.R. Rescue Ranch holds Open House on Saturdays

Beginning in June, STAR (Save The Animals Rescue), 970 Rabbit Skin Rd., Waynesville North Carolina.  will hold open house on Saturdays from 11Am - 3PM. Folks can bring lunch to eat at the picnic area, bring treats for the horses, see adoptable cats, kittens, dogs and horses.STAR ALWAYS needs donations and volunteers. Pictured here is Starbuck, a Tennessee Walker. He has lost vision in his right eye but has adapted to seeing only with his left which is handy since that is 'rider' side anyway.  He is 8 years old and ready to ride.
