2009 Hickory Nut Gorge Olympiad- Lake Lure
August 27-30 2009 Hickory Nut Gorge Olympiad in Lake Lure. Named a "Top 20 Event for the last two years by the Southeast Tourism Society, The Olympiad is Lake Lure's premier festival. Athletes can compete in golf, tennis, swimming, cycling, running or the triathlon. There are also events for children, family fun and entertainment.
